1. Luca Cano – He finally did it! He has finally won it all. Through all the smack talking and disappointing losses in previous playoff series, Luca Cano can finally call himself a champion. He joins Matt and Jeff on the exclusive list of champions. Luca is heading into the 2024-2025 fantasy season very strong. Not only did he win last year but the entire track list speaks for itself. This man drafts well, wins trades, and manipulates others. He will win at any cost and if he doesn’t…still be prepared to get some shit talk.
2. Alex Stempski – Alex had one of the greatest regular seasons ever. 1995.50 points scored in the regular season and a 2nd best 10-4 record in the league. Most people would admit they were scared of Alex’s team the most but it all ended in an epic upset by Jeff Smith in round 1 of the playoffs. Alex is a known fantasy legend with spectacular performances throughout fantasy football and basketball. Alex is going to be hungrier than ever (yes, a fat joke!).
3. Andrew Lucas – While Andrew Lucas has yet to reach the championship, he was in the same boat as Luca. A very successful regular season and then disappointing post-season runs. While Andrew has been stuck chasing for third place every season it seems, this could potentially be his breakout or “Luca” season. Getting over that hump and just making the championship would be a win for Andrew in my humble opinion.
4. Jeffrey Smith – Man, what a fucking fraud this guy is. Started 4-0 and then went on to lose 6 (could’ve been 7, I cannot check) games in a row. Jeff has Christian McCaffrey to thank for his success last season. Without that man, it would have been a second poverty season in a row for the 2021 champion. While Jeff may had God on his side this season (specifically his playoff run), he still finished 2nd while losing to Luca Cano in an exciting and high-scoring championship match. That along with previous seasons of success leads me to believe he will be another top competitor for the 2024-2025 season.
5. Jonathan Wakabayashi – Waka has always been a competitive member of this league and will most likely be shortly. This season Waka stepped up his game. Not in competing for a championship but in his meme and shit-talking game which was a welcomed surprise. If Waka wins the championship, I don’t think we will ever hear the end of it.
6. Adam Fishman – (insert Jewish joke).
7. Damian Dalic – Damian was in a weird situation last fantasy season. He had some quality wins but also had bad losses as well. Damian is an X-Factor in this league with the potential to make some noise in the playoffs for sure heading into the 2024-2025 season. He’ll most likely need to win early on in the season to have success.
8. Richard Hansen – Richard was a middle-of-the-pack player and now he’s out of the top 6 of the pre-draft rankings. Having a better record than Jeff and Damian but scoring fewer points in total compared to them isn’t a great feat. It’s simple, he is mid. He’ll get a few lucky wins and will beat the bad teams but don’t expect him to consistently beat teams at his or a higher level.
9. Matt Tavares – What a downfall from Matt. 3 straight championship appearances, 2 championship wins, and now 2nd to last in the league. What does Matt need to do to reclaim his glory? Well, I can’t answer that.
10. Diego Galloza – Diego was dead last in the league, do I have to say more? Hopefully, Diego can rebound and be competitive this season!
11. Nick Gerbasi – Nick is a new member of the league and will be looking to make his impact in his first season.
12. Joseph Bacino – For the first time ever a previous member has rejoined the league. Joe had some disastrous seasons before but is hoping to do some research to win.
